Scott Abarr serves as a Senior Advisor Consultant of Osaic Annuity for Highland Capital Brokerage, overseeing annuity distribution in the Mid-Atlantic territory of the United States. He works closely with independent producers, national institutions, and broker-dealers.

Abarr has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. He first joined Highland in 2007 when he accepted a position as an annuity wholesaler at their Chicago office. In 2011, he was invited to join the Annuity Division of the corporate team.

Before joining Highland, Abarr was a financial representative with Guardian Life, where he provided life insurance, annuities, and long-term care services to key 401(k) accounts. 

Prior to his career in financial services, Abarr was a PGA Professional and spent time in South Carolina, Illinois, and South Florida. In his free time, Abarr enjoys fishing and playing golf.
