Matthew Shlesinger serves as a Senior Advisor Consultant at Highland Capital Brokerage. He combines his extensive knowledge of the investment industry with dedication and enthusiasm to assist financial advisors in achieving their clients' investment goals. With a career in the asset management industry since 2004, he understands the objectives of various investor classes and the impact risk mitigation and asset diversification can have on long-term financial results.

Before joining Highland, Shlesinger enjoyed several roles in the investment community. Most recently, he spent 12 years as an equity trader for institutional and high-net-worth individual assets.

Shlesinger is a Penn State graduate and earned his MBA from Loyola University Maryland. He is also a Chartered Market Technician®.

Shlesinger lives in Baltimore with his wife and two children. He enjoys spending time with his family and all things sports-related.
