Joseph Mulheran

About

Joseph Mulheran is a Vice President of Signature Private, the private client group of Highland which serves business owners and affluent families. He specializes in business, retirement, and estate-planning solutions involving the use of insurance products – life insurance, annuities, long-term care, disability insurance, and life settlements. His planning is conducted in close collaboration with investment advisors, private bankers, family offices, financial planners, accountants, and estate attorneys.

Mulheran has more than 15 years of experience and joined Highland in 2012. Mulheran began his career with Lincoln Financial Group in Greensboro, N.C. He was part of a team dedicated to servicing a separate financial institution’s life insurance planning needs. He has served on advisory councils and boards for both Lincoln Financial Distributors and Highland. 

After completing his undergraduate studies at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Mulheran was awarded his CLU^® and ChFC^® advanced designations from The American College. The CLU^® focuses on life insurance and risk management, while the focus of the ChFC^® is financial planning. Mulheran is a member of the Twin Cities Estate Planning Council. He holds the Series 6 and Series 63 licenses.

Mulheran, his wife, and their three children reside in Edina, Minn.
